PREVENTION FROM MALARIA
What is malaria? You might have heard about malaria, disease man has been fighting since many years. It is such a disease which can even be fatal.
Causes :-   Plasmodium, a tiny protozoan is responsible for this disease  Different species of plasmodium (P. vivax, P. malaria and P. falciparum) are responsible for different types of malaria. Of these malignant malaria caused by plasmodium falciparum is the most serious one and can even be fatal.  The injection is through the bite of female anopheles mosquito that transposes the sporozoites of plasmodium.
Precaution:- The most important and effective  way of preventing malaria is to prevent mosquito bites following measures can be taken :-
A.    Wear long sleeved shirts, and long trousers
B.    Apply insect repellents
C.    Burn inspective oils
Its treatment involves the use of chloroquines
Awareness:-           Every one should be aware of mosquito and should apply mosquito Nets at night. If people must travel to an area to have malaria, they need to find out which medications to take, and take them as proscribed.

Pollution
Pollution :-  Pollution is when something is added to the environment that is harmful or poisonous to living things. Smoke in the air from factories is a type of pollution as it is bad for the lungs when breathed in. Sewage in drinking water is another type of pollution , as it can make people ill because it contains germs and versus. People living next to a building site where there is too much noise can become sick as they cannot sleep or relax.
Types of Pollution :- There are many types of pollution that is harmful to living beings. Some of them are :-
a.     Air pollution –It is caused by harmful gasses such as carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc. It is also caused breathing problems and other health related disease.
b.     Water pollution  - It is the presence of harmful materials in water such as sewage, dissolved metals, waste form farm and factories, etc. It harms the aquatic organisms due to the reduction of oxygen.
c.      Noise pollution – It is the noises in the environment that are harmful to humans and animals. It may cause deafness, headaches, etc.
PRECAUTIONS:-To reduce the amount of pollution, every people should come
forward and p0rovide a hand in it .some preventive measures are given below:-
a)     Slowing down the population growth.
b)    Use water based paints.
c)     Walk instead of driving.
d)    Use solar energy.

e)     Plant trees as they provide shade, clean air, mask noise, etc.
